The Board of Trustees is the legally designated governing board for the Kingwood Public Library. They are responsible for the overall welfare of the library and meeting the needs of the community it serves. Duties include establishment of library policies, fiduciary oversight, and hiring the library’s executive director. Volunteer Board members are appointed for a five year term by Kingwood City Council. All meetings are open to the public.
